K4 Sports would like to introduce the man in charge of our facility! Meet Jacob White. Jacob played baseball at Emporia State University, and then went on to coach at Coffeyville Community College in 2012. As an assistant, he helped lead the Red Ravens to the 2013 Regional Finals and achieved the most overall wins and the most conference wins in school history. White also spent two seasons in Tahlequah, OK, as a graduate assistant with the Northeastern State University Riverhawks baseball program. Jacob received his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from NSU in May of 2014. While there, he helped the Riverhawks reach the MIAA Conference Tournament Final Four. Jacob has spent the last few years as head coach at Sterling College! He finished this season 37-18 overall, reaching No. 23 in the nation during the year, and tying for third in the KCAC. Jacob also coached six All-KCAC award winners this season, including the Freshman of the Year.
Cody Schumacher is joining the K4 Team! Cody attended Missouri State University, where he pitched for the Bears. Cody was then drafted 36th round by the St. Louis Cardinals. He then spent 3 seasons in the Minor Leagues playing 5 different levels. Cody is eager to come in, get involved, and begin giving some pitching instruction to our boys!

Meet Tobi Cowdin. Tobi has played baseball his whole life, and is one of the youngest head coaches in summer collegiate baseball. He attended Southeast Community College in Nebraska, and finished his education at Washburn University. He has coached at Topeka West, Jackson Heights, and is currently the head coach for the Rossville Rattlers! He received the Mid-Plains League Manager of the Year 2 times in 2015 and 2016. He has coached over 30 players who went on to play in NCAA college programs. Tobi has learned from some of the best baseball and football coaches in northeast Kansas. We are so excited to have him with us at K4 Sports!
Hitting, Catching, and Fielding Instructor
Megan grew up outside of Chicago, IL playing softball around the country and internationally in Australia. She played college ball at Benedictine College for three seasons before suffering a career ending knee injury. Megan has given individual lessons and coached teams at various levels throughout her career. She is excited to join the K4 team and will give lessons in hitting, fielding and catching.
Miranda Dick is a pitcher out of Elkhart, KS. She was named to the Kansas Coaches Association All-State team as a pitcher in each of the four years she played at Elkhart High School, and finished her high school pitching career with a 63-11 record as a pitcher with 581 strikeouts. She led her team to the Kansas High School State Softball Tournament 3 of the 4 years of her involvement in the softball program at Elkhart. She signed with the Colby Community College Trojans and trained as a pitcher and centerfielder. In her sophomore year, she was named a Kansas Jayhawk First Team All-Conference centerfielder. Miranda was then recruited to play for the Fort Hays State Lady Tigers as a centerfielder where she completed her career in 2004. Miranda has experience with pitching mechanics for the fastball, dropball, curveball, offspeed, and riseball and has worked with pitchers of varying ages and levels of experience.
